Terms of Service

The rules for using Naudina to manage authorised YouTube livestreams.

The Service

Naudina streams the videos that a channel’s owner uploads to their Naudina gallery live on their YouTube channel, as automated broadcasts. Accounts are by invitation. It acts on a channel only after the channel’s owner has connected it and agreed to automated broadcasting. It does not guarantee views, revenue, audience growth or uninterrupted broadcasting.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Accounts and authority

You may connect only a Google account and YouTube channel that you own or are legally authorised to manage. You must keep your own account credentials secure. The Service never needs your Google password: you connect through Google’s OAuth permission screen.

Do not grant access to an account you are not authorised to use.

Automated broadcasts

By connecting a channel you agree that, until the channel is stopped in the workspace or you disconnect it, the Service may:

  • create live broadcasts on the channel with the visibility and audience setting configured for it;
  • run up to the configured number of broadcasts at once, at most 10;
  • stream the videos in the channel’s gallery: each broadcast plays the videos of one gallery tag, with a title and a thumbnail from that tag’s lists and the description and visibility (public, unlisted or private) the user sets for that tag, and takes its category, YouTube tags, language and disclosures from the channel’s settings;
  • create the stream keys it needs, and delete scheduled broadcasts of its own that never went live;
  • start and end them by itself, and replace a broadcast that fails or does not hold viewers with a new one.

While a channel is paused, no new broadcasts start, and those running go on. The connect page shows these terms with the channel’s own settings before you agree; if the settings later go beyond what you agreed to, no new broadcast starts until you agree again. Nobody confirms each broadcast. Before you start the channel, review the terms on the connect page and your gallery’s videos, titles and thumbnails.

YouTube rules

The Service uses YouTube API Services. By using the Service, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and applicable YouTube policies. YouTube and Google are independent services and may limit, suspend or remove your channel, content or API access under their own rules.

You must not use the Service to bypass YouTube limits, evade enforcement, scrape YouTube or Google services, artificially generate engagement, or create deceptive, harmful or unlawful content.

Your content and obligations

You remain responsible for all content, metadata, rights, permissions, audience designations and disclosures associated with your channel and livestreams. Before publishing content, ensure that you have the necessary rights and that it complies with YouTube’s policies and applicable law.

You keep all rights to the videos, titles and thumbnails you upload. You give Naudina only the permission it needs to store them, to make the copies needed to stream them (a version of each video in your channel’s streaming format, a preview picture, and a smaller copy of a large thumbnail), and to stream your videos live on the YouTube channel you connected with your titles and thumbnails, for as long as they are in your gallery (a broadcast already playing a video you delete finishes first). Naudina draws nothing over your videos or thumbnails. Upload only what you have the rights to stream.

Do not upload or transmit malware, infringing material, personal data without a lawful basis, or anything that could harm the Service, its users or third parties.

Availability and changes

We may update, pause or discontinue parts of the Service to maintain security, comply with law or improve reliability. Livestreaming depends on our servers, YouTube and other services outside our control, so we cannot promise that every action will complete without interruption. Naudina doesn’t back up your videos: keep your own copies.

Ending access

You may disconnect your channel and delete your videos in your gallery at any time, and ask us to close your account and delete your gallery, through the Disconnect and deletion page. We may suspend or end access where needed to protect the Service, users or third parties, or where use violates these Terms or applicable policies.
